　 調査の結果該当するデータが無かったのであれば、噂に反してそのような事実は無かったという結論に至るのが科学的な態度です。調査結果に反した結論を、しかも本文ではなく脚注部分に盛り込む手法には、姑息な印象を覚えますね。

　 いずれにせよ、本文ではなく脚注部分で日本の印象をできるだけ悪くしようというスタンスは共通しています。
