Al-Maliki intends to heal rifts

Local committees will be formed in each Baghdad district,
made up of representatives of every party, religious and tribal leaders
and security officials, to consult on security efforts.
A central committee, also made up of all the parties,
will co-ordinate with the armed forces.
In a possible boost to the effort to rein in the violence,
a radical cleric who heads one of the most powerful Shia militias,
Muqtada al-Sadr, has ordered his followers to put aside their weapons
temporarily, an al-Sadr spokesman said.
治安の努力について相談するべき全ての党派、宗教的、部族のリーダーと治安
当局者の代表者で構成された地元の委員会が、バグダッドの各地区で組織される
でしょう。
全党派で構成された中央委員会も軍隊と調和するでしょう。
暴力を抑制する努力を後押しする、最も強力なシーア派民兵の一つを率いる
急進的な聖職者ムクタダ・アル・サドルが彼の追従者に

集団的イニシアティブを誓う文書に調印したと発表し、バグダッドの治安問題に
対応する為、平和と安全の為の委員会を設置したと述べました。
イラク合意戦線のアドナン・ドレイミ代表は、今回の合意は素晴らしいものだと
述べ、各方面に協力を呼び掛けました。
