対イラク武力行使

「あいつらは女性達をレイプしている
あいつらはアブ・グレイブで陵辱している」
「俺達は襲撃され、火をつけられ、拘束され、追い立てられ、殺される
このようなことが日夜を問わずずっと続いているんだ」
「それが我々が米軍に抵抗する理由だ」


My two year old child,she could not sleep.
The airplanes were always bombing.
On one side cluster bombs on the other side missiles.
They were bombing us from everywhere.
There were explosions over our heads all the time.
「私の二歳の娘は眠ることができませんでした。
飛行機が爆撃し続けていました。
こっちではクラスター爆弾が、向こうではミサイルが
至る所から私達を攻撃していました。
私達の頭上で、休む間もなく爆発していました」


Now we get the water from the tap on the street
but you can not drink it is very dirty it has dirt in it.
We bring people with clothing to filter the water
through the clothing and then we drink it.
But if you saw it you would not even think it was clean enough
to wash your clothes in.
Now the kids are hurting with stomach problems
and their kidneys are failing.
「今では通りの蛇口からは水が出るが、それを飲むことができない
非常に汚い、本当に汚れている。
私達は、衣類を持った人にその衣類で水をろ過してもらい
それからそれを飲む。
しかし、もしあなたがそれを見れば
服をそこで洗濯するのにさえ十分に清潔だと思わないだろう。
今、子供達は胃の病気で痛んでいる。そして腎臓がやられている。」


How does the government accept this ?
They show on TV the freedom fighters
and they say they are the terrorists.
But they are calling people here terrorists
then why are they not calling Americans terrorists also ?
They would never accept this in their lives.
「政府はどうしてこんなことを容認しているのでしょうか。
政府は、抵抗するイラクの男達をテレビで映し出し
彼らがテロリストだと言っています。
しかし、ここにいる人々をテロリストと呼ぶのであれば
なぜ彼らはアメリカ人を同様にテロリストと呼ばないのでしょうか。
イラク人が生涯これを受け入れることはないでしょう」
