Dear Friends,

It was an honor to make this film.

The horrors of war have been rained down on the innocent civilians
in the way of American military operations.
What is happening to the civilians caught in the crossfire of combat
in Iraq is the unreported story of this war and this film just begins
to tell that story.

The Iraqi people who worked on this film and who spoke to us on camera
have taken extraordinary risks to bring this truth to you.
In Iraq the truth is a very dangerous thing to those in power and
these courageous people were willing to take these risks to bring
the truth to the world.
It is my privilege to call them friends and mentors,
and I have learned much from their courage and compassion.

Due to ongoing military operations in Iraq,
the conditions for the civilians are getting worse every day.
The proceeds from the sale of Caught in the Crossfire
go directly to relief efforts in Iraq.
