イスラエルで自爆テロ、３人死亡…イスラム聖戦が犯行

　 【エルサレム＝佐藤秀憲】イスラエル放送などによると、イスラエル中部ネタニヤのショッピングセンター付近で１２日、パレスチナ過激派による自爆テロがあり、少なくとも３人が死亡、２０人以上が負傷した。

　 自爆犯も死亡した。同国での自爆テロは、今年２月末にテルアビブで起きて以来。

　 イスラム原理主義組織「イスラム聖戦」が、ロイター通信を通じ犯行を認めた。自爆犯は、ネタニヤ東方にあるヨルダン川西岸の村に住むパレスチナ人（１８）。

　 パレスチナ自治政府のアッバス議長は、「裏切り者たちがパレスチナ人の利益に反して行動している」と異例の厳しい言葉で自爆テロを非難、治安機関に関与した者の逮捕を命じた。

さて、イスラエルで勉強とは、羨ましい限り。でも、日常的にバス、と聞くとかなり心配です。自転車という手はダメなのかな？（道が狭過ぎて危ないか……）。

くれぐれもご用心を。「基本的に投稿を控えるつもり」などと言わずに、落ち着かれたらまた、ちょくちょく書き込んでほしいものです。

これからも暇を見ては投稿しようと思いますが、必然的に投稿内容はこれまでと変わってきます。

これまで私はハーレツやエルサレムポストやアルジャジーラやデイリースター、ＢＢＣといったあたりのインターネット版に出ている情報を紹介し、それを拙いながら自分なりに考えて投稿してきました。

これらはどれもネットで日本から読めますし、kokunan678さんやojin_8823さんも、私とは考え方は違っていることがあっても、同じようなネタを使って投稿されています。だから私が別に紹介する必要ないのかな？ 　 と思います。もっと詳細な情報を紹介しているabutoumaさんのような方もいらっしゃいますし。

また、abutoumaさんみたく現地のＴＶ新聞媒体やご自分の取材をネタにできればいいけど、結構真面目に学生するつもりだからそこまで手が廻らないでしょう。必然的に日常的に見つけた発見くらいしか書けなくなりますが、それだったらブログでも始めりゃいいわけで。

いずれにせよこれまでと同じようには投稿できません。同じ人でも、東京に住んでいて遠くのパレスチナ・イスラエル和平を考えるのと、こちらに住んで対峙するのではだいぶ違います。考え方も相当変わってくるでしょう。すでに変わってきました。

たとえばですけれど、こちらで暮らしてバスに頻繁に乗るようになるまで、本当の意味で、「自爆テロの恐怖」というものを理解できていませんでした。理解していたつもりだったのですが。

これまで東京にいるときに想像したことはあります。東京でバスに乗りながら「ああ、これがテルアビブだったら周りの乗客の誰かが自爆犯だったりするんだよね。えらいこっちゃ」とかね。

でも、テルアビブでどうしても（乗りたくないのですが、経済的な理由からどうしようもありません）バスに日常的に乗るようになると、これが現実の恐怖となります。

ちょっと上手く説明できるかどうかわかりませんが、やってみましょう。

乗車すると同時に車内をすばやく見渡し、怪しい人がいないかどうか確認し、速やかに車内中部まで移動して出口のそばに陣取る。そして「ああ、どうか今日も五体満足で家に帰りますように」と考えます。周りの風景にも本にも集中できません。

アラブ系の人が乗ってくるととても緊張します。とくに若い人が乗ってくると。彼の一挙一動に目を開かせながら「こうやって監視していても、もしも彼が自爆犯で、今この瞬間に自爆されたら一発でアボーンだな」という諦め、そしてそのうち、「彼はまったくイイ奴っぽいじゃないか。アラブ系だからというだけで疑うなんて」と、自分への嫌悪感が押し寄せます。

今日も無事でよかったと胸を撫で下ろしながらも、無辜の人に疑いをかけたという自己嫌悪にまみれながらバスを降りる。。。これが毎日あるわけです。


こういう経験を毎日していると、当然和平問題への考え方も変わります。いわば当事者もどきになってしまうので、第3者的な客観的な視線と冷静な論理は後退し、かわりに感覚、直感による判断が出てきます。つまりもっと感情的になるわけです。

これまで私は出来るだけ「冷静に説得」という言葉で書く努力をしていました（それは皆さんに私の投稿がそれなりに受け入れられたりしたことからも、ある程度達成できていたのだと思います）。
意見が違う人にはわかりやすいたとえ話や、日本の状況にたとえたりと、かなり丁寧に論を進めてきたつもりです。

しかしこれからは、感覚・直感の言葉になってしまうでしょう。「なんで理解できないの？！ 　 日本に住んでいる君に何がわかるというのか！」と。
また、こちらに住んでいる自分が、日本に住んでいる方の意見に「なるほど、貴方の意見のほうが私より正しい」と納得することなどあるはずありません。

他人を説得することも、他人に説得されることもありえず、ただ感情的な意見を垂れ流すというのは、対話の場であるべき掲示板においては「嵐」と言われるものです。


そういうわけでこれからは基本的に投稿を控えるつもりです。事件があったときに、「今テルアビブはこんなかんじです」とか「最近街角でこういうものをよく見かけます」みたいなことは暇をみつけては書くつもりですが。

まずは近況をご報告します。
ちょっと思うところありまして、仕事を辞めて学生時代の研究を再開しようと思いたち、今年の2月に東京のアパートを畳み、日本を出国してイスラエルに来ています。

最近何回か書き込みしたのは日本に帰って来たからではなく、住む家をやっと探してネットにつないだからです。（前に英語で書いたのは友人宅のＰＣからでした）

留学の内容は詳しく言いません（イスラエルに留学している日本人は少ないので、個人特定されたら困りますし）が、とにかく現在はテルアビブに居住して学校に通っています。
これから最低2年こちらに住む予定です（もしかしたら2年後にハイファに移って合計5年とかいうことになるかもしれません）

たとえば先日の病人を利用した病院テロ計画については「このような極悪非道のテロ計画は、占領によってパレスチナ社会から人間の尊厳を奪われたからだ。悪いのは占領だ！」という、一体どうなったらそういうことになるのかよくわからない論法になるらしい。しかも「極悪非道のテロ計画」の立案者をまったく問題にせず「環境」にのみ非難を浴びせるという、実に上手い論点のずらしがある。


で、この論法でもうまくいかないようなヒドイテロ計画のときは、この「国家テロはもっとヒドイ」論が出てくるんだけど。だったら、イスラエル民間人がパレスチナの学校や商店街やバスでがんがん自爆し始めたらどうするんだろうね？ 　 「これで公平になった」なんて評価するのかしら？


この国家テロ論っていうのは、「国家の安全保障の行為とはどこまで許されるのか？」という抽象的な論になってしまうので、結局それ以上議論のしようがなくなってしまうんだけどね。


で、さらにパレスチナ応援団にはもう一つ「陰謀論」という逃げ道もあって、先日の病人による病院テロ計画については、「これはシンベトの工作だ！」という相変わらずの声もあるらしい。

Female bomber: Attack aimed at youth

A would-be female suicide bomber who planned to blow up at the Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba on Monday, the same hospital where she received treatment for burns this past year, was caught at the Erez crossing wearing explosives stitched to her underwear. She said she wanted to kill up to 40 or 50 people, including as many youngsters as possible.

Security forces were alerted when the biometric screener located at the terminal crossing revealed that Wafa Samir Ibrahim Bas, a 21-year-old student at Al-Quds Open University, and resident of the Jabaliya refugee camp in northern Gaza, was wearing explosives.

Security forces immediately shut down the crossing and Bas was ordered to strip inside a concrete enclosure. During the process she attempted several times to detonate the explosives but failed. After arguing with soliders who issued orders over a loudspeaker, she removed the explosives, later blown up by a robot.
Officials estimated that the bomb contained ten kilograms of explosives.

In a Channel One interview at the Shikma Prison in
Ashkelon, Bas at first declared that she intended to kill as many Israelis as possible and did not want to detonate the bomb at Soroka, because many Arabs were treated there and considered Tel Hashomer instead.

"I love Allah, I love the land of Palestine and I am a member of Al-Aksa Brigades," she said.
Later however, she admitted she had been taken advantage of by Al-Aksa Brigades and was a victim. As the reality sank in she said "yesterday I was free, I was a bird flying in the sky."

Breaking down and crying she admitted she did not tell her mother of her plans and asked for forgiveness. "I am sorry mother, forgive me, I should have listened to you," she said.

Bas had access to Israel after receiving burn treatment at the medical center this year. Taking advantage of the access into Israel, she agreed to a request by Al-Aksa Brigades commanders in Gaza to blow up in a, "crowded area in the hospital."

Security officials noted that terror organizations recruit Palestinians to launch suicide bomb attacks on their behalf, using special permission they received on humanitarian grounds to enter Israel for medical treatment.

"Unfortunately this is not the first time that the Palestinian Authority has failed to live up to their security responsibilities," Col. Yoav Mordechai, the head of the Erez district liaison office, told The Jerusalem Post. Mordechai went on to say that a request to allow Palestinian policewomen to check Palestinian females at the crossing before they enter the Israeli side, was received positively by the Palestinians in the past.

However, the lack of enforcement kept up by the Palestinians requires the Israeli side, "to carry out more stringent inspections and those who suffer will be those requiring medical treatment," he said. The terminal crossing will remain open but those requiring special permits for medical treatment in the future will have to go through a longer procedure in order to meet security requirements.

Ibrahim Mudeiris: Allah has tormented us with "the people most hostile to the believers" ・the Jews. "Thou shalt find that the people most hostile to the believers to be the Jews and the polytheists." Allah warned His beloved Prophet Muhammad about the Jews, who had killed their prophets, forged their Torah, and sowed corruption throughout their history.

With the establishment of the state of Israel, the entire Islamic nation was lost, because Israel is a cancer spreading through the body of the Islamic nation, and because the Jews are a virus resembling AIDS, from which the entire world suffers.

You will find that the Jews were behind all the civil strife in this world. The Jews are behind the suffering of the nations.

Ask Britain what it did to the Jews in the early sixth century. What did they do to the Jews? They expelled them, tortured them, and prevented them from entering Britain for more than 300 years. All this was because of what the Jews did in Britain. Ask France what it did to the Jews. They tortured them, expelled them, and burned their Talmud, because of the civil strife the Jews wanted to spark in France, in the days of Louis XIX. Ask Portugal what it did to the Jews. Ask Czarists Russia, which welcomed the Jews, who plotted to kill the Czar - so he massacred them. But don't ask Germany what it did to the Jews. It was the Jews who provoked Nazism to wage war against the entire world, when the Jews, using the Zionist movement, got other countries to wage an economic war on Germany and to boycott German merchandise. They provoked Russia, Britain, France, and Italy. This enraged the Germans toward the Jews, leading to the events of those days, which the Jews commemorating today.

But they are committing worse deeds than those done to them in the Nazi war. Yes, perhaps some of them were killed and some burned, but they are inflating this in order to win over the of the media and gain the world's sympathy. The worst crimes in history were committed against the Jews, yet these crimes are no worse than what the Jews are doing in Palestine. 　 先の００５７６配信について、昨年の夏アンマンでパレスチナ出身のヨルダン人から似たような話しを聞きました。彼女の友人の兄がバグダードへ行って、自家用車を運転中に、米軍のチェックポイントで呼び止められて、ある警察署（あるいは軍の事務所だったか）へ行くように指示されたので、そこへ行くと大した尋問もされずに帰されたので、不審に思って車を点検すると爆弾を見つけ、イラク人の担当者に告げて処理を頼んだとか、ですから現地では昨年の夏よりも前に、この事は行われていた事ではないでしょうか。

　 さらにイラクでのイスラエル医師団による臓器売買のニュースですが、これもパレスチナで思い当たることがありました。２００１年８月１０日前後にナブルス経由でジェニンに行きました。現地のメディア関係者に聞いた話ですが、あるハマスのメンバーが６人、会議に集まったところをイスラエル兵に襲撃され、そのうち２名が逃げ遅れて拘束され、イスラエルへの基地へ連れ去られたそうです。１ヶ月程後、ジェニンの郊外の丘の上にこの二人の人体の入った段ボールが発見され、その人体は不思議なことに内蔵がなかったそうです。つまり人体の外側だけ。頭も同様。でジェニンの人たちは、それが何故なのか分からず、イスラエル兵がなぜこんな事をしたのか不思議がってました。私はイスラエルの医師団が新しい人体実験、たとえば脳を解析して彼らの記憶を引き出す実験とか、突拍子もないことを考えたのですが、イラクで暗躍するイスラエル医師の話を聞いて、おぞましいあのイスラエル兵の行為に合点がいきました。

Independence Day celebrations have begun across the country, beginning with an official ceremony at Mt. Herzl. The theme this year: "Covenant of Life: Bridging Hearts"



Knesset Speaker Ruby Rivlin, speaking at the Mt. Herzl ceremony tonight, spoke of his fears of a civil war and a rupture in the nation. "I’m greatly worried about a rupture," he said, " that might bring calamity upon all of us, one that’s much greater than the planned evacuation of the communities of Gush Katif and northern Samaria... I stand before you this year with very great fear of the raucous sounds of a total turning of [our] backs on our covenant with the Land, of the true intentions of those who have 'shown disdain to the coveted Land,' and of the scorn heaped upon those who love it and are loyal to it. I am fearful of the malicious joy of some at the misfortune of those who have given and are giving their lives for the settlement and redemption of this land. How will we be able to celebrate our 58th Independence Day if, Heaven forbid, this year becomes one of fraternal bloodshed?"

In response to voices calling for the silencing or reducing of Independence Day celebrations this year in light of the plan to destroy the settlement enterprise of Gush Katif and northern Shomron, Rabbi Yaakov Medan of Yeshivat Har Etzion told Arutz-7, "The State is not Omri Sharon, and Independence Day is not just a day of barbecues. We must continue to thank G-d on this day and to recite the Hallel prayer of thanksgiving and praise. This is a day of making an accounting and of thanking G-d for the great miracles He has done for us and continues to do for us."

Rabbi Gabi Kadosh, rabbi of the Gush Katif community of Ganei Tal, also related to this issue in an article he wrote on Katif.net. "We must ask ourselves, to whom does this State belong?' Rabbi Kadosh wrote. He explained that it does not belong to the secular Zionist movement, nor to those who see no value to its establishment, "but rather to the Master of Universe, Who erected it for us so that we could fulfill the destiny and mission of the Nation of Israel on this earth - namely, to be a 'kingdom of priests and a holy nation,' and to fulfill the task of recounting G-d's praise. The establishment of the State is part of the process of the nation's return to Zion... It is a commandment upon all of us. Thank G-d, 57 years ago, G-d showed favor to our nation and allowed us to build the State, with tremendous Divine help. That day, the 5th of the month of Iyar in 5708 (1948), is the day on which the Master of the Universe stopped the situation in which the Jews are dispersed around the world."

At the President's House tomorrow, President Katzav will receive IDF generals from all time, as well as 120 top soldiers. Later in the day, foreign ambassadors will come to congratulate the President on Israel's birthday. The annual Bible Quiz for students from Israel and all over the world will be held tomorrow in the Jerusalem Theater. Ben (Chaim) Kandel from St. Louis won this week's Diaspora Bible Quiz, which took place in Sderot. Joshua Gutenberg, 17, from Canada came in second, followed by Tzviya Cohen, 16, of France.

Islamic Jihad kill 'collaborator' teen

Islamic Jihad members on Saturday killed a Palestinian youth suspected of collaborating with Israeli intelligence, the group said.

The body of the 18-year-old youth, identified as Rami al-Malakh, was found outside his village near the West Bank town of Tulkarm.

Residents said al-Makh had disappeared last night. He was shot to death.

In Tulkarm, the Islamic Jihad issued a leaflet claiming responsibility for the killing, saying they would release a video of the youth confessing to giving Israeli security forces information on the location of Islamic Jihad fugitives.

The youth was from the same village where IDF troops killed an Islamic Jihad member last week. St.-Sgt. Dan Talasnikov, 21, of Moshav Nir Galim near Ashdod, was killed in the clash, and another paratrooper lightly wounded.

The raid was the first by troops since Israel turned over control of the Tulkarm area to the Palestinians in early March.

Dozens of Palestinians suspected of collaborating with Israel have been killed by fellow Palestinians.

The Islamic bloc also put out a campaign leaflet for students, “Voice of the Islamic Bloc” espousing its political platform. According to the Intelligence and Terror Information Center at the Center for Special Studies, a think-tank devoted to exposing what’s happening inside the PA the world press, the leaflet said that the strategic goal of Hamas is to establish an Islamic Palestine from the Mediterranean Sea to the Jordan River.

The leaflet also attacked PA chief Mahmoud Abbas, depicting him in a photograph shaking the hand of Ariel Sharon and asking, “Are you shaking the hand of my murderer?”

Another leaflet handed out to students on campus purports to be “the last letter” of Khalil al-Sharif, a student suicide bomber who carried out an attack on Ben Yehuda St. in Jerusalem on September 4, 1997, “in which 5 Zionists were killed and more than 200 others were wounded.”

The letter recounts the student’s decision to leave the Fatah student movement at Bir Zeit University, north of Ramallah, to join the Islamic Bloc following the Oslo accords. The leaflet ends off praising al-Sharif for joining the Iz a-Din al-Qassam Martyrs Brigade (the military wing of Hamas). “Allah strengthened him [by allowing him to join] to join the jihad and conferred upon him the honor of martyrdom,” the leaflet stresses.

Not to be outdone by the Hamas dominated Hebron University, Abbas has become personally involved in stirring up anti-Israel incitement at Bir Zeit University, al-Sharif’s alma mater. In a speech on April 14 to the student body following the surprise victory of Abbas’ Fatah faction in the student council elections after years of a Hamas majority, Abbas told students that this achievement would be followed by other successes.

“I hope Allah will unite our victory with Jerusalem,” proclaimed Abbas. His words were followed by thousands of Bir Zeit students chanting, “Millions of Shahids (terrorist martyrs) marching on Jerusalem.”

Hamas couldn’t have done a better job.

「PA Media and Universities Promote Terrorism, Hatred, and Jihad」

Despite Abbas’ well-polished image as a moderate, his administration has been presiding over an incessant campaign of incitement against Israel that spans the media and university centers.


Palestinian Authority leader Mahmoud Abbas’ Fatah controlled press has been at the forefront of incitement against Israel. At the same time, PA universities, where tomorrow’s PA leaders are getting their education, are becoming more radicalized and opened about recruiting suicide bombers directly from the student body.

The PA’s state television has been accusing Israel of poisoning Palestinians with radiation. Gaza TV reported on Saturday, April 30, that Israeli machines killed a 55-year-old Palestinian woman who apparently died of a heart attack after being searched with an American-made device.

That story was depicted in the print media with a cartoon that in western countries would be condemned as anti-Semitic propaganda: A hand with a Star of David on its sleeve holds up a red colored machine called “Rafah crossing”, emitting waves that are called “death and illness”.

The cartoon appeared in a newspaper, Al-Hayat-Al-Jadeeda, a paper owned and controlled by the Fatah faction of the PLO, headed by Mahmoud Abbas.

Moreover, the official news agency of the PA, claimed on Thursday that Israel deliberately killed “an aged woman” with an American made “radiation machine”. The Palestinian Authority itself, announced last Tuesday that it was closing the Rafah (Rafiah) crossing to protect Palestinians against “Israeli use of a radiation device for searching Palestinian travelers.”

Israeli security officials have said that the device is nothing more than an American-made machine that uses “holographic technology to screen passengers for weapons and explosives.”

According to Michael Widlansky of IMRA (Independent Media Review Analysis), a think-tank that surveys the Arab press, Abbas is continuing a long-running PA campaign, led by Arafat and his wife Suha, to discredit Israel by claiming that Israel uses “radio-active weapons” against Palestinians, including “uranium artillery shells”, “uranium bullets”, and “poison gas”.

Widlansky asserts that under Abbas, the Palestinian media have actually stepped up the use of incendiary mosque speeches broadcast on Palestinian radio and television where both Israel and Americah are regularly attacked as well as increased use of code words in Arabic such as “resistance operations” to describe attacks on Israelis.

Incitement against Israel is not the sole prerogative of the PA media, however. Abbas’ administration has also done virtually nothing to stem an alarming rise in anti-Israel hatred spewing out of campuses in the PA administered areas of Judea, Samaria, and Gaza.

Hamas, which intends to run candidates in the upcoming PA general election this summer, has won control of the student councils at Hebron University and the Polytechnic University of Hebron by significant margins. Both schools were closed several times by the Israeli military government when suicide bombers were recruited clandestinely by Islamic extremists on campus.

Now Hamas promotes terrorism openly on campus. A leaflet distributed by the Islamic Bloc, Hamas’ student wing on the Hebron University campus, called for loyalty to the blood of the shahids “martyrs” (terrorists who were killed in an operation against Israel), claiming that becoming a terrorist would be an “honor” for students.

「PA TV Continues Incitement Against Israel and the US」

Official Palestinian Authority (PA) sponsored television broadcast a sermon this past Friday that accused Israel and the United States of seeking to conquer the Arab world.


"Our enemies want to occupy Arab and Islamic lands, under their leadership," Sheikh Ibrahim Mudeiris declared in his weekly sermon. The imam (Islamic preacher) is on the payroll of the PA, according to Hebrew University Professor and Arab Affairs expert Dr. Michael Widlanski, who translated the sermon.

Therefore, the speech was essentially broadcast and financed by the PA, whose chairman Mahmoud Abbas (Abu Mazen) has repeatedly stated his committment to eliminate incitement against Israel and the US.

"Our enemy has become strong and fed on us like prey in our lands, in the East and in the West, because we are weak, and our only strength lies in the Koran," Mudeiris said in his speech.

Mudeiris also declared that the "enemy" had deliberately tried to cause "civil war" among the Arab world. Abu Mazen himself last month told Egyptian journalists that any attempts to reign in terror groups would lead to "civil war."

The Islamic preacher did not mention America and Israel by name, referring only to the countries as the "occupiers." The term "occupiers" is a word used in the Muslim world for both the United States and Israel whose forces are respectively called "the American Occupation Army" and "the Israeli Occupation Army."

Widlanski claims that Abu Mazen has shown "intermittent restraint" with regard to the broadcasts, immediately following Israeli or American pressure. While most "martyr films" have been removed from PA TV, there has been a "parallel promotion of atrocity stories about Israelis deliberately murdering Palestinian children."

Futhermore, Widlanski adds, "there has been an increase in the use of certain code-words such as 'resistance operations' and 'martyrs' that glorify, rather than condemn, certain attacks on Israeli targets."

最近、東京に越して来たことはご存知ですよね。ずっとレンタルのアパートにすんでいて、ヤマハの先生になりたかったから、勉強もして、演奏やレッスン教えたりバイトもしながらやってきたのですが、ずっとその日ぐらしでした。宮崎県出身の女性の社長さんとしょっと知り合いになり、その方お友達の方の会社に今お世話になっているし、そこの寮にいるんです。宮崎にいるよりずっとたくさんお給料がもらえるし、東京に来たかった理由もいくつかあるから 　 ろれは別に全然問題ないんです。

でも、東京に来ることは、私が決めたわけではなかったんです。どこでもよかったんです。

だって、アドベンチャーさんにあいたいからきたようなものですから 　 和歌山県にアドベンチャーワールドってありますよね。だから大阪方面でもよかったんです。周りがきめてくださったんです

TEHRAN, Iran - More than 400 young men and women have volunteered to carry out suicide bombing attacks against Americans in Iraq and targets in Israel, a militant group said Wednesday.



The recruiting effort was detailed during a ceremony organized by the Headquarters for Commemorating Martyrs of the Global Islamic Movement, a shadowy group that has been seeking attackers for nearly a year.


The Iranian government has distanced itself from the organization. But the event was attended by Mahdi Rahimian, the head of the Martyr's Foundation and the Imam Khomeini Relief Committee, both quasi-government organizations run by hard-liners loyal to Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.


"Some 440 volunteers, most of them women, signed up today," said group spokesman Mohammad Ali Samadi.


Samadi, said members have already carried out suicide attacks inside Israel against Israeli military targets. But his group is not among those that have claimed responsibility for any previous attacks there.


Iran's hard-line rulers have long called for the destruction of Israel. Iranians are barred from traveling to Israel and Samadi suggested that his suicide bombers secretly infiltrate the Jewish state.

「Hamas Bomb-Maker Star of Syrian-Produced TV Series」

A 12-part series on the life of the “father of suicide bombings,” Hamas bomb-maker Yihye Ayash, is set to be aired on the Lebanese-based Hizbullah satellite television station al-Manar.


Ayash, who studied electrical engineering at Bir Zeit University near Ramallah and joined Hamas shortly afterward, was responsible for manufacturing bombs that killed at least 76 Israelis and injured more than 400. Israeli intelligence elements finally succeeded in killing him in 1996, using an explosive installed in his cellular phone.

Ayash is lauded as a hero in the Palestinian Authority, and posters featuring his face, with the honorific nickname ‘al-Muhandas’ [The Engineer], plaster the walls of many Arab towns in Judea, Samaria and Gaza.

On January 5, 1996, Israeli security agents succeeded in having him answer a cell phone in which they had planted 1.7 ounces of explosives - causing it to blow up and kill him on the spot.

The Syrian-produced TV series on his life is not the first anti-Semitic program to be aired on al-Manar. Aside from laudatory news reports following attacks on Israeli civilians, the channel broadcast a series called ‘A-Shatat’ [Diaspora] in November 2003. The show was billed as an accurate depiction of modern Zionism, but was blatantly anti-Semitic in content and made repeated references to the forged anti-Semitic document "The Protocols of the Elders of Zion."

Following that broadcast and the refusal of al-Manar to remove anti-Semitic programming, the channel was removed from the rosters of local satellite networks in the United States and France.

The series on Ayash began airing in April, at prime time each evening. The series glorifies the terrorist, and Hamas in general.

The Arab actors playing IDF soldiers and Israeli government officials speak Hebrew in the series, though with a thick Arabic accent. Sinister music is played whenever a Jew appears on the scene.

Ayash is portrayed as a role model, and even a moral humanist. One scene depicts him urging terrorists under his command not to harm any Israeli children in an “operation.” He says to them: “Never forget, we are superior to our enemy in our moral standards.”

Six years after Ayash's death, Israel's Ministry of Education released a pamphlet about the 70 infants, children and teenagers who had been murdered by Palestinian terrorists - and the 720 who suffered moderate to serious wounds in these attacks. Dozens more have been killed since then.

アメリカは、アラブの対テロ戦争努力を認めない

アラブは9.11事件を非難し、対テロ戦争に協力しようと申出ている。しかしアメリカはその協力を認めない。この恐るべき諸事件が欧米の心に新しい思考をつくりだすのではないか、と我々は考えている。それは、このテロリズムの根源と発生原因を考えない理解の仕方である。

ニューズウィークの世論調査によると、イスラエルの占領とパレスチナ人民の虐待がテロリズムの根源であると答えたのが58％。これから問題が奈辺にあるかが浮かびあがってくる。

　 ネオコンとイスラエルロビーは、イスラエルの占領ではなく、イスラムの煽動と他者に対する憎悪がテロリズムの原因、と主張

ロンドンを初め世界の主要首都に住むアラブ人は、この世論調査を正しいと考え、パレスチナ人民無視の政策を是正する時が来たと主張する。ところがネオコンとイスラエルロビーはすぐさま別の論法を持ちだし、イスラエルの占領ではなくイスラムの暴力煽動と他者憎悪こそこのテロリズムの原因である、と主張するのだ。

勿論イスラエルは、非難や批判をいつも避けたいわけである。故アラファト議長は9.11の犠牲者に献血までしている。しかしこの高貴なる行為にも拘わらず、議長は鼻であしらわれ、逆にテロリズムの親玉、扇動者として非難までされた。

イスラエルは宣伝戦で優位にたち、アメリカと手に手をとって、自分をテロリズムの犠牲者に仕立てた。そしてパレスチナ人は、日常的にイスラエルのテロをうける犠牲者であるのに、テロリスト扱いをされる。自由と独立とは彼等にとってタブーである。占領体制は40年も続いているのに、彼等がこの占領体制に抵抗することを誰も望まず、雄々しくも名誉ある抵抗を尊重しない。第二次大戦中フランスでマキが活躍したが、彼等はその足跡をたどることが許されないのだ。

全世界がアラブの反テロ国際サミット提唱を無視した

アラブは、反テロ国際サミットの開催を提唱したが、全世界がその呼びかけを無視した。反テロ地域協定が1998年にアラブ諸国によって調印された。しかしそれでも我々はテロリストとして非難される。学校から帰宅途中の或いは家庭で遊んでいるパレスチナ人児童を殺すのが、イスラエルの対テロ闘争の一環である。イスラエルの戦争犯罪に対する国連の非難決議は留意されない。

我々はテロリストではないし反ユダヤでもない

アラブ文明史をふり返れば、我々は我々の過去になんら恥じるところはない。我々はテロリストではなかったし、反ユダヤ（反セム主義）でもなかった。我々自身がセム系だからである。ユダヤ人にとって一番良い時代は、我々と一緒の時だった。ユダヤ人思想家マイモニデスは、（イスラム支配下の）アンダルシアに住み、アラビア語で哲学書をまとめ、アラブの住民としてすべての権利を享受した。我々は異端審問をせず、我々の文明はナチやファシストの思想を生みださなかったし、他者をその土地から追いだし数百万をディアスポラ状態におき、帰還権を認めない、などということもしなかった。

アラブは世界で欧米に一番近い人民である。我々は隣人である。我々の現在と未来は互いに関連しあっており、双方には特にこれといった紛争もないが、あいいれない点がひとつある。それは欧米が親イスラエルという点である。バイアスのかかった無茶苦茶な親イスラエル、そしてその植民地主義と膨張主義政策を支持するのは、一体どういうことか。

我々は、あなた方がイスラエルの存在権を支持するのは理解する。しかし我々は、あなた方がイスラエルの膨張主義政策を支持するのが、どうしても判らない。アラブ・欧米関係には沢山の古傷がある。数世紀の前のものや植民地時代のものもある。しかし我々はその古傷を蒸し返しどうしてくれるのだと、居直るわけではない。むしろ双方の状態、現実を互いに知り合うことが必要である。そうすれば、共通項が沢山あり、立場の違う点はさほど多くないことが判るであろう。

9.11事件の背後にイスラエルの影―アラブ連盟駐英大使



　 サウジ王家のオンラインマガジンAin Al-Yaqueenは、2005年4月1日付の記事でアラブ連盟駐英大使ハミド（Ali Muhsen Hamid）の講演を掲載した。この講演は「アラブと欧米―不可欠の関係」と題し、イギリスの保守党系の外務連邦評議会（Conservative Foreign and Commonwealth Council）で行われたもので、ハミド大使はその講演の中で、アラブ世界と欧米の文化的類縁性を強調し、その間にくいこんで邪魔をするのがイスラエル、と述べた。以下その講演概要である。



　 欧米は分裂崩壊を恐れ、分解防止のため戦争を必要とする

…アラブ世界はトルコ帝国に続いてヨーロッパに支配され、政治、科学、文化上の役割がすっかり小さくなってしまった。アラブは独立を失い、国際社会でもアラブ独自の立場を喪失した。多岐にわたる帝国主義的力は、今日も影響を及ぼし続けている。アラブ世界にみられる政治、経済及び教育上の後進性は、この影響の結果である。



　 このような諸条件がアラブの足を引張り、挑戦力を弱めている。なかでも一番悪いのが、ユダヤ国家の建設である。1948年パレスチナにつくられて以来アラブは平和と安定を失い、ほぼ10年毎に発生する戦争のパートナーになりさがった。最近では、欧米が戦争を必要としている。利己心と個人主義の我利我利亡者が横行し、その結果欧米社会は崩壊しそうになっており、それをくいとめ引き締めるために戦争が必要なのである。更に欧米は最新の軍事技術を戦場で実験する必要もある。アラブの戦略的位置がこの実験にぴったり合うのである。欧米のみならずイスラエルについても然りである…。



　 欧米とアラブ世界に共通のビジョンを

我々は新しい共通のビジョンを求めている。キプリングは、「東は東、西は西、二者は相交わることなし」と言ったが、我々はこのキプリングの思想を吹聴しない関係を求めている。



　 世界は極めて小さくなっている。現在はグローバルビジネスの時代であり、それに合った新しい地平を我々は期待しているのである。アラブ資本の大半は、欧米の銀行口座に預金され、通商の大半も欧米と行われている。更に我方の科学、技術は圧倒的に欧米の技術者とコンサルタントに支えられている。昔と違うのは、政治アドバイザーと高等弁務官がいないことである！…

　 イギリスがアラブ世界で教育を奨励し、独自性を持つ思想の発展を抑える代りに真のリベラルな民主過程の形成に力を入れていれば、アラブ世界は欧米の延長線上につらなり、状況はもっと違ったものになったことであろう。



　 民主主義と自由は、植民地主義や軍事占領とあいいれない。このような軍事手段でまず犠牲になるのは、民主々義と自由である。欧米の政策は実際には傀儡の擬似民主政権をつくりだした。それが軍事クーデーターと軍国主義社会への道を開いたのである…。



　 9.11でアラブ・ムスリムを非難するな：背後にいるのはイスラエル

　 イスラエルがアラブはテロリストと言えば、欧米はすぐそれに同意する。イスラエルがアラブに力ずくでも民主々義をのませよと言えば、欧米のメデイァやシンクタンクのなかには、それに同調するものが出てくる。イスラエルがイラクとイランを悪魔視すると、欧米は前者に戦争を仕掛け、後者に対しては警告を発して脅し始める…



　 更に悪いことに、欧米人士のなかには、民主主義、民主的統治、法による支配といった課題はアラブ世界に適用不能と主張する者もいる。何故かといえば、それを根づかせるに必要な基盤がアラブの精神構造に欠けており、アラブの独裁体質が政治システムの基準であるからだという…



　 我々にウェストミンスター式の民主々義がないのは本当である。しかし我々には、リニューアルと再活性化にフタをせず少しずつではあるが受入れるシステムがある。そもそも、イスラムを民主主義の敵とみなし、外部から中東の〝民主化〟をはかれなどという思考は、昔のオリエンタリストの思想に順じたもので、アメリカがこれに乗ったのである…



　 ワシントンは、2001年9月11日に自国の領土でテロ活動が起きて以来、喧嘩騒ぎを起すようになった。この事件でアラブ、イスラムが敵視されるいわれはない。事件の背景にイスラエルの暗躍があることは明らかである。
