Meanwhile, the results of forensic testing on a white powder which sparked a security scare on the ship are due today.
船に安全上の恐れを引き起こした白い粉の法務分析は今日結果が出ることになっている。

The powder was found in a letter Mr Watson opened when the ship docked in Hobart yesterday.
粉は昨日船がホバートに入港した時、ワトソン氏が開封した手紙の中に発見された。

"We put it in a paper bag and sealed it in a container," Mr Watson said.
「われわれはそれを紙袋に入れ、コンテナ容器に封印した」とワトソン氏は言った。

Police Inspector David Plumpton says the substance is being analysed but early indications are that it is harmless.
デヴィッド・プランプトン検査官は、物質は分析中だが初期兆候では無害であると述べた。

"Whether it's a hoax has to be determined, exactly the circumstances of that being delivered not only to the
Steve Irwin but how it came to be delivered," he said.
