Mr.Zhilong,I respectly say your statement is misleading.

When Japan began invading China in the 1920s, China was a total mess with no modern technologies. Did your teacher tell you those facts at school? Miseries of China took place far before the Japanese invasion. Several warlords occupied their ownterritories and the feudal dynasty was dying. Lots of corruptions: one stupid empress built big garden in Beijing by embezzling money for building war vessels to fight against Japanese vessels. For that theft of money, China lost the war against Japan in 1900.Farmers had not been treated as humans. They were first used as disposable shields then exploited and abandoned as if pigs. Rich merchants in Shanghai sold controlled substances to the foreign companies and made tons of money. They bound foot fingers ofyoung girls for sexual pleasure and even sold them for money to the Chinese mafias located in California. On top of those facts (that you probably won't admit), there had already been other nations sucking Chinese blood and enjoying Chinese young girls.Shanghai was virtually given to British, French, German, and Americans. With those shitty histories, how come you and other Chinese always argue Japanese invasion alone? Is it just a matter of sequence of historical facts? You guys once accused the UnitesStates as if she was a primary source of all evils when Chairman Mao was alive. Did you rewrite the history? You might check the sayings of Chairman Mao in his books under which Chinese people choired “Devil the Americans, Devil the Americans”. Nownearly everybody in China wants to go to the United States, Japan and other foreign countries. Am I wrong?
By the way, the United States did not say any condolences officially to the Vietnamese after invasion of Indo-China peninsula. They made a peacetreaty, gave favorable immigration policies and that is it. Many Americans now think the war was a mistake but still take the stance that the soldiers killed and died in Vietnam were heroes of the United States. I understand the sentiment and respect them.Good contrast with the Chinese government even trying to have intervening statements when the ministers of the Japanese government pay tribute to the soldiers passing away during the war.
I also wonder why you have connected your version ofperspectives as to Chinese history with the Japanese economic progress. When the war was over, Japan was more miserable and destructive than China. One research paper said that per capita income just after the war was much higher of urban China than of overallJapan. Starting point for the Chinese was much better! Of all destruction, nuclear bombs killed more than 200,000 people: no food, no water, and no money. I do not think the fact that Japan currently prospers far better than Mainland China has anything todo with the Japanese perspectives on the history concerning invasion into Chinese continent. The reason Japan prospers so much without any natural resource is quite obviously attributable to the Japanese people. Many books have written on the economicprogress. You might check them out if you want to.
China has almost everything: oil, gas, coal, land, metals, rice, cattles, and so many people. How come do you think this backward status quo might be explainable with this abundance? Because Japan invadedChina? I do not think so. When Chinese Chairman visited Japan last year and talked the severity of the Japanese invasion during the wartime at the Tokyo Foreign Press Club, he should have talked in such a way to avoid the misconception that the Japaneseinvasion was a primary reason for China’s backwardness. He should have talked the deficiencies of the Chinese Communism and reformation they are pursuing now by following American and Japanese ways. He should have said that Chinese Communism is D-E-A-D andeducation to increase hatred against the Japanese was wrong.
