兵士らが米軍襲撃を計画 　 クウェート軍が数人逮捕
　 【クウェート市４日共同】クウェート軍当局者は３日、同国に駐留する米軍兵士の襲撃を計画していたとして、クウェート軍兵士数人を逮捕したことを明らかにした。
　 クウェートはイラク戦争を支持し、米軍に出撃基地を提供。現在も数千人規模の米兵が駐留している。小規模な襲撃事件はこれまでにも起きているが、兵士らの逮捕は親米国家といわれるクウェートの軍内部にまで反米勢力が浸透していることを裏付けた。
　 ＡＰ通信によると、当局者は「友軍に敵対する計画」で逮捕された兵士について「５人未満」と述べた。高位の士官が含まれ、逮捕者は最高８人に上るとの報道もある。
　 兵士らは先週逮捕され、軍内部で引き続き取り調べを受けているという。米軍攻撃計画の詳細は明らかにされていない。

Kuwaiti security has detained several Kuwaiti soldiers suspected of plotting to attack US forces in the Gulf Arab state, a security source said on Monday.

A Kuwaiti court is also trying another group of three Kuwaiti men accused of entering the Iraqi city of Falluja to fight US-led forces.
