パレスチナ：爆弾テロで自治政府に非難集中
　 伝統的にパレスチナ寄りの立場を保ってきた国連や欧州連合（ＥＵ）からもテロ対策を求める圧力が強まっており、パレスチナ過激派組織の解体を迫るイスラエルには格好の追い風になりそうだ。
　 「非難や釈明だけでは通用しない」。ＥＵのソラナ共通外交安保上級代表は事件後、テロ非難の声明を出したアラファト・パレスチナ自治政府議長にこう呼びかけた。「自治政府は犯人を逮捕し、罪を償わせねばならない」との要求には、これまでも具体的な対応策に踏み出そうとしなかった議長へのいらだちが込められている。
　 また、国連のラーセン中東特使は今回の事件を「紛争拡大の前兆」と表現し、「（事件は）自治政府にとって治安組織を刷新、強化することが不可欠であることを示した」と改革を強く迫った。

US seeks answers in Gaza rubble
There was nothing military oriented, clandestine or even controversial about the US convoy that was blown up on Wednesday in Gaza. The victims were the bodyguards of embassy officials travelling to interview young Palestinian candidates seeking scholarships to study in America.
For Americans and others working in the Palestinian territories, the message is clear. From now on, whatever their type of work, they are potential targets.

Palestinians bomb US convoy Attack on envoys a 'political disaster'
A source close to the Palestinian Authority, who regularly met members of the American missions to Gaza City, said the bombing was disastrous for the Palestinians.
"No one wants to widen the conflict and I can't believe even Hamas or Islamic Jihad would be stupid enough to do it," he said.

しばしばガザで米外交団に会っていた自治政府に近い筋は、「パレスチナ人への大惨事だ」
「ハマスだか聖戦だか知らんが、ここまで馬鹿だったとは信じられない」と言う。

But while Palestinian police arrested several members of the PRC, confusion arose when the group's leader, Yasser Zanoun, said the attack was against Palestinian interests.
"We can distinguish between Americans who come to Iraq as invaders and those who come to Gaza as guests," he said.

というのが口癖でしたが、自ら無にしてしまった。

これを機会にアメリカ政府がロードマップへの熱意を失うのが一番怖い。
