Well, I agree with The Man “Who Cares!” it isn’t all that important except to some extremists on both sides. The maps say Takeshima, end of story as far as I’m concerned.
The Liberation article that is quoted ends by saying that the “dispute” between the Japanese embassy and the producers was resolved and the programme went out as seen.
James - there would be little on this in English speaking press as it was an issue that was reported in a brief paragraph in the Media section of the Liberation newspaper - hardly mainstream and certainly not front page.
I must say that the Korean paper did a good bit of editing by leaving out the bit about the Japanese embassy and the documentary producers resolving the dispute.
