Iraq Shia alliance selects new PM candidate

"Six of the seven leaders of the Shiite alliance member parties gave
their consent in favour of Maliki," Sharif of the Fadhila Party said.

The Fadhila Party, the seven party in the Shiite United Iraqi Alliance,
rejected Maliki in favour of their candidate Nadim Juburi.
Fadhila党、シーア派統一イラク連合の７つの党は彼らの候補者
Nadim Juburiに賛成してMalikiを拒絶しました。



“We have no objection to Jawad al-Maliki,” said Iyad al-Samarrai,
of the Sunni-led Iraqi Islamic party.
“Although there is not much difference [from Mr Jaafari]
from the ideological point of view,
we have a feeling he is more practical, more willing to solve problems.
We don’t want to complicate the process [further].
It’s better to move on.’’

speaker to Mahmoud al-Mashhadani, a Sunni Arab.
