It was referring to American Nick Berg who was beheaded by the Jordanian militant's group in May.

5月にヨルダンの武装勢力に首を切られたアメリカのニックベルクに付いての言及でした。

"One of the elements belonging to the Japanese forces fell captive in the hands of Al Qaeda Organization of Holy War in Iraq. It became evident he had gone to Israel and Jordan before Iraq and we will show the documents after his family and government identify him," said a masked man on the tape.

日本軍関係者の一人がアルカイダのイラク聖戦機構の手の中に捕虜となった。
これは明白だ、彼はイラクに入る前にイスラエルとヨルダンに行っていた。
我々は政府と家族が彼を確認した後にこの証拠を示す。」
とマスクを被った男がテープで言いました。

"They are asking why the Japanese government ... sent its troops to Iraq. They want the Japanese government and Prime Minister (Junichiro) Koizumi to withdraw Japanese troops from Iraq or they will cut my head (off)," said the hostage who was wearing a white shirt. He spoke in English and then in Japanese.
