First of all, let us apologize for our suspicion on your identity
(It's all because your Japanese was SOOO perfect!)
Still, if I may say, you missed some critical points .
War itself or sending Japanese SDF is not an issue here.
What made us mad was the attitude of the hostages' Family.
At first, most of us were sympathetic for the hostages and their families. We really wanted them back home safely.
But, after that, THOSE familymembers began to exploit this "incident", and did THAT ugly propaganda backed by some political parties. Which is quite unfair, because sending troops is an National decision made in the congress. Which is unfair, because hostages should be rescued definitely. We felt that disgusting, because the political parties exploited that hostages. Most of all, these "innocent" hostages had close ties to these political parties.

Well, well, with my poor English, that's all I can explain to you for now. Sorry for that.
Again, I highly appreciate your precious comment from another perspective.
