▲最近の「検閲」は、宗主国さまに代表されるように、報道機関が事実を正確に伝えないねつ造や、取り止めの隠ぺいのための道具に成りきってしまった感がある。
ザコちゃんのカキコだと宗主国さまも、さすがに検閲「前」に毛嫌いしてしまうんじゃあないか〜ぁ♪♪。
▲「反米」という立場から、ブッシュ大統領のゴシップ報道だけは一生懸命行っているが、世界中に流れている人権問題だというのに、宗主国さまの場合だけはしっかりそのまま検閲を真似て悪用し、「隠ぺい」に努力する朝日ちゃんであるニダ :-)

BEIJING - The top U.N. human rights official said Tuesday that she worries that China is using the post-Sept. 11 war on terrorism as an excuse to widen a crackdown on Muslim minorities and members of the banned Falun Gong spiritual movement.

In the past year, China has widened the use of executions and passed laws that appear to increase the authorities' powers of arrest and detention, said U.N. High Commissioner for Human Rights Mary Robinson.
昨年、中国は実行の用途を拡大して逮捕や拘留の当局の権限を強化しているように思われる法律を通した、と国連人権高等弁務官事務所を代表して Mary Robinson は述べた。
She said China has invited a United Nations investigator on torture to visit next year. The move comes in response to a longstanding U.N. request to investigate numerous reports of abuse.
弁務官によれば、中国は拷問に関する国際連合調査者に、来年訪れるよう勧めた。 その動きは、乱用に関する多数の報告を調査すべく長く続いた国連の要求に答える形で起きている。
The United Nations is demanding that Van Boven be allowed to visit prisons of his choice and meet privately with inmates, she said.
国連は、Van Boven が酌量され、彼の好きな刑務所を訪問し、収容者達に個人的に会うことを要求している、と弁務官は述べた。
Robinson said she raised the cases of several prisoners during meetings with Chinese officials. At the top of the list was Xu Wenli, a veteran activist sentenced in 1998 to 13 years in prison after co-founding the China Democracy Party.
Robinson によれば、中国官僚等との会談の際、いくつかの刑務所の件について提議し、リストの最初にあげられている Xu Wenli は、中国民主化団体を創設した後、ベテラン活動家として 1998 年に 13 年の刑を言い渡された、と。
Noting that Xu is in poor health, she said, "I think it is time steps are taken to release him from prison."
