You are right. there is no formal expression as like Good Morning in the great holy naion. ofcourse we have Annyonghaseyo(Peace with you), Jaljumusiesseoyo(Did you have good sleep) and ect. but, It's too polite to say people whom you met every day. so, we , the great holy people, accepted english expression Joeunachim or Joeunachimimnida(良い朝,Good moring). Now it became very common expression in normal situaions among the great holy people.
