ちなみに、この莫大な金の出所はアラファトの隠し財産で、総額は40億ドルにもなるとされている。口座はロンドン、チューリッヒ、そして、なぜかテル・アヴィヴにある。しかし、元なる出所は西側諸国からの援助金をネコババしたものであるということは想像しなくても分かるだろう。この国に援助する必要があるか？
