頑張れパレスチナ！（第２版）

ガンジーのお孫さんの70歳になるArun Gandhiさんは、昨年な夏にパレスチナを訪れ、様々な集会で演説した。

その理由は「祖父が実践した非暴力抵抗運動を、パレスチナの人に説きたいから」と。

「55年間のパレスチナの暴力運動はより状況を悪くしただけで、何も有益なものをもたらさなかった。新しい手段（非暴力抵抗運動）を試す時期ではないか」

Gandhi's non-violence message to Mid-East

The former journalist says he will tell the Palestinian people that they should try out non-violent campaigns against the Israeli occupation.

"I am going to tell the people about the value of non-violence. I am going to tell them that 55 years of violence has achieved nothing but more agony and heartaches and that it is time for them to try new ways of dealing with the issue," Arun Gandhi told BBC News Online.


30年未満の非暴力抵抗運動で、
強大な英帝国から独立を勝ち得たインド。

60年近い年月を（イスラエル独立以前のテロも入れればもっと長いが）、徹底したテロ、暴力主義でやってきた挙句に、
未だ小国イスラエルから独立できないパレスチナ。


Violence has not achieved anything.というガンジー孫の言葉には真実がある。



ちなみに、Arun Gandhiさんの来訪に合わせてパレスチナの市民団体が「ガンジーから学べ」というスローガンをやろうとしたが、
「ガンジーだと！？ 　 我らが親愛なる指導者にして、百戦百勝のアラファト将軍様以外の人間を理想視するとは何事か！」
というファタハ連中の突き上げをくらってスローガンを撤回する羽目になったそうな。
当時アラファトはまだ生きていたからね。
