Leviathan: Sea Shepherd calls for Crew
The Sea Shepherd Conservation Society has a new ship for this years Antarctic whale defense campaign. The Leviathan
is a 54 metre, ice class, long range ex-patrol vessel that has the capacity to catch the whaling fleet. The $2.6
million ship is currently being refitted and made campaign ready. She will be arriving in Australia mid-November for
a 1st of December departure.
The intention is to seek out and stop the Japanese whaling.
Sea Shepherd is presently recruiting volunteer crew for the Antarctic.
If you care about life on Earth and want to work on the sharp-end, directly opposing the industrial destruction of
living ecosystems, please apply. Crewing with Sea Shepherd will give you experience with the active and enthusiastic
people who are part of one of the World’s most experienced direct-action organisations.
