Here is a good article from CNN that briefly describes some of the atrocities that the Japanese committed and the ongoing attempts by the government to cover it up.

Here is another short page with more information and sources. Tragically, allied prisoners of war in World War 2 suffered a 37% death rate at Japanese hands compared to a 2% death rate at German POW camps.

この中のＵＲＬですが、最初のは平成９年(1997)、家永教科書裁判第三次訴訟最高裁判決（家永裁判最後の判決）を紹介するＣＮＮニュース記事です。前の#75655はこの記事です。

この記事には、日本軍の残虐行為はすべて（諸外国には）自明の真実であるが、日本政府はそれを懸命に隠蔽しようとしており、裁判所が隠蔽の事実をどこまで認定したか、というふうに書かれているような気がします。

ニュース記事ということで、これを読んだアメリカ人はこの投稿者のようにその通りに信じると思いますが、どうにも強い違和感を感じます。

どう思います？
