This book covers almost all aspects of the so called "Nanking Massacre" based on primary sources, not only in Japanese but also English and Chinese. Especially noteworthy is that the book introduces a top-secret document entitled "The Overview of Propaganda Maneuvers" of Nationalist Party's Ministry of Information which the author discovered at Nationalist Party's History Museum in Taipei in 2003. This new evidence leads to the conclusion that there was no massacre in Nanking.
