Intervention
jyoui-san,
Well...I can tell from there are almost only Japanese people speaking in this forum. Although I don't really know who is Chinese or Japanese here, it is important that both sides' opinions are being heard and considered, right?
As for your question regarding the issue of "intervening in someone's internal affairs," I think you should ask the US. While the US sent troops to bomb the heck out of Yugoslavia for humanitarian reasons, why did the US turn a blind eye on thestarving millions in North Korea? The North Korean government may be "evil" in US's perspective, but the citizens are but ordinary people. If the US just acts out of humanitarian reasons, it would not care if the North Korean government is "evil" or not andwould send in humanitarian aid to help the starving people. However, the US kept holding back the aid and used it as a "chip" to bargain with the North Korean government. Why? How can such a "humane government" turn a blind eye on the innocent starvingmasses? The answer is simple

it's "REALPOLITIK!" It is international politics which involves the sophisticated calculation of a country's own interests, the international situation, and its own power (economic, military, political...). If you'reinformed on Chinese history, culture, social mentality, and so on, put yourself into the shoes of a Chinese person and answer the question you've asked. I'm sure you will find a totally new and interesing perspective.
