Dear Orangutang-san,

I apologize for what mentioned about Japanese men in my previous message. Again, I had no evil intention and did not take up the issue to stir up argument. I understand that what I said might have offended you and I'mhere to apologize what I said. But let me stress that I did not lose my senses and I wrote with a clear head.

After I came to this forum, I started to realize that there is a large difference in the way of thinking between Chinese and Japanesepeoples. Although I may not agree to the opinions of some of you, it is, afterall, a very valuable experience to hear so many different opinions from Japanese people. I would say that I was pretty much limited to what my parents, teachers, and Chinese mediatold me about Japan; however, now I'm learning the opinions coming from the Japanese side. I believe that this will be very beneficial to me. However, at the same time, I think that Japanese people must also listen to opinions from the Chinese side. Inaddition to conducting a clear analysis of every reason or so, it is also important to know the feelings of Chinese. Put yourself into the shoes of a Chinese person and think from his or her point of view, what you see will be very different from lookingfrom a Japanese point of view. I did try to think from a Japanese point of view, and I began to understand the reasons for a lot of your responses. In fact (you may not believe this..), I actually told my parents about how some of you think and speak foryou! I did this because I know that my parents and every Chinese person I know are biased, and I try to open their minds to views coming from the other side. Of course, as you might expect, they did not accept what I told them, but at least now they knowhow Japanese think and may modify their original thinking slightly to reduce their bias.

Now, this is my attitude towards pursuing the truth; I hope you will appreciate what I am doing, and I am not here to stir up arguments. Again, I would liketo apologize again for what I said about Japanese men. You can think that I am too naive or unintelligent to have made that comment (as described by Latecomer-san), please forgive my naiveness. Anyway, thank you for looking at this message.
