Dear latecomer-san,

I don't know the authenticity of the report which you read. I doubt that any Chinese person would have the guts to pretend that they are Japanese. I would say that those Hong Kong people whom you claimed that pretend to be Japanese don't even consider themselves as Chinese. In Hong Kong, because of some people's dissatisfaction with the Chinese government and the "success" of colonial education, some don't feel they are Chinese at all. I don't like those people and all I can say that they were merely products of history. This situation is the same as people living in Taiwan. I have friends from Taiwan who say they are Chinese living in Taiwan and those who say they are Taiwanese. This is again a product of history, all I can say is that they must eliminate this kind of thinking gradually.
