When did the world know ”Nanking Incident” for the first time? It is 1946, Nanking Incident was informed at Tokyo Trials(The International Military Tribunal for the Far East: 1946 - 1948, or Judgement at Tokyo). Nanking Incident is said to have happened in December of 1937. And yet, China insisted that more than 200,000 people were slaughtered. Why China did not insist on it for 9 years? Why the world did not know it for 9 years? Why Franklin Delano Roosevelt did not refer it at all?
