New Video By Ansar al-Sunnah Army Shows Japanese Ambush in Iraq
A militant group that allegedly kidnapped a Japanese man in Iraq has released a new video apparently showing the scene of the ambush that led to his capture, a Japanese news agency reports.

The Ansar al-Sunnah Army claimed on its website last week that it ambushed a group of five foreign workers, killing four and kidnapping the fifth - Japanese citizen Akihito Saito, 44.
Tokyo has been unable to independently confirm Saito's whereabouts or condition.
The group's website had a new video purportedly showing their attack, but Saito's image could not be confirmed, Japan's Kyodo News agency reported from Cairo.
Japan's Foreign Ministry said it couldn't immediately confirm the report.
An unidentified man who survived the ambush has told Japanese officials that Saito was severely bleeding after being shot, and it was unlikely that he could have survived.
Japanese Foreign Minister Nobutaka Machimura said the government had tried to contact the captors through intermediaries: "We are trying everything we can, but so far he has not been found."
Last year, when five Japanese were taken hostage in Iraq and later released, many Japanese criticised them for recklessly endangering themselves.
In October, when Iraqi militants beheaded a Japanese backpacker, many in Japan blamed the victim for his own death.
But those incidents also fuelled opposition to Japan's presence in Iraq. Many Japanese have criticised it as a violation of Japan's pacifist constitution.

【カイロ１５日共同】英国系警備会社の斎藤昭彦さん（４４）＝千葉市出身＝を拉致したとするイスラム過激派「アンサール・スンナ軍」を名乗る組織は１５日未明（日本時間同午前）、ウェブサイトに、斎藤さんらの車列を襲撃した様子とするビデオを公表した。映像に斎藤さんの姿は確認できない。
斎藤さんの拉致を同組織が９日に公表して以来、事件に関する映像は初めて。映像中、「ジャパニーズ（日本人）、ジャパニーズ」との叫び声も聞こえており、日本人の存在を示唆している。声の主は不明。
映像には「アルアサド（米軍）基地で、十字軍崇拝者と契約を結んだ４人の外国人に対する神の判決の執行を示すビデオ。この作戦で重傷を負った日本人が捕らえられた」との説明が付けられており、長さは約６分。
