Bush: Cut cash flow to terrorists

＞US President George W. Bush condemned Wednesday's suicide bombing in Jerusalem, offered his condolences to the victims, and called on the international community to cut the flow of money to terrorist organizations.

＞"For the people in the world who want to see peace in the Middle East, I strongly urge all of you to fight off terror, to cut off money to organizations such as Hamas, to isolate those who hate so much that they're willing to kill to stop peace from going forward," Bush added.

"I strongly condemn the killings and I urge and call upon the free world, nations which love peace, to not only condemn the killings but to use every ounce of their power to prevent them from happening in the future," he added.


○ＣＮＮのテレビでブッシュがこれを実際に口にしているところを見たが、"cut off money to organizations such as Hamas"「ハマスらへのカネを絶つんだ！」と発音するときの表情や言葉の強さから、彼が〝外堀〟を埋めつつある過程で描いていた「作戦」を連想させられた。

○ブッシュはたぶん「最終的な手段」をなるべく回避させる形でロードマップを成就させようとしているのかもしれない。

○ブッシュの意図に国際社会が「協力」することは、疑いのない「善」だ。それを「国連加盟国」全てが実行できるならば、それに越したことはない。その行為自体が、口先はともかく、「テロ否定」を認めることになりかつ「証拠」として事実にも残るからだ。

○これは、実現して欲しい。ドビルパンのような偽善/不正義の言論がまかり通る時代である。「悪しき唇」を正すことができないのならば、まず「行動」で知らしめる――人類の歴史が唯一の超大国を産み出した意味合いが、そのような形で生かされるのであれば、覇権が絶対悪ではないことを示すことができるだろう。
