Kahane's son and daughter-in-law murdered

Binyamin Zeev Kahane, the son of the late Kach leader Rabbi Meir Kahane, was murdered, together with his wife Talia, after terrorists shot at their vehicle south of Ofra early this morning.
Five of their children suffered light to moderate injuries.
Rabbi Meir Kahane was assassinated in New York a decade ago.
The couple and their six children had spent the Sabbath in Jerusalem and decided to delay returning to their home in Kfar Tapuah on Saturday night because of the numerous shooting incidents at Israeli vehicles travelling on the roads and highways in Judea and Samaria.
Minutes before the attack the couple had dropped off their 12 -year-old son, Meir, at Beit El where he attended school.
Shortly after continuing on Highway 60, terrorists opened fire at the vehicle after passing the settlement of Ofra.
Kahane, 34, was fatally shot and lost control of the car which overturned, landing in a ravine at the side of the road.
His wife, 31-year-old Talia, was critically injured and died in the ambulance en route to Jerusalem's Hadassah-University Hospital, Ein Kerem.
The couple's five daughters, aged 10-and-a-half to two months, were also transferred to Hadassah Hospital in Ein Kerem suffering from moderate to serious injuries.
Hospital spokeswoman Yael Bossem-Levy said one daughter, aged ten-and-a-half, was transferred to the children's intensive care wing, where her condition was listed as serious.
Her four other sisters, including a two-month-old baby, were transferred to the pediatric surgical ward, their conditions listed moderate to light.
Shortly after the attack, army bulldozers flattened hilltops overlooking the road where the attack occurred.
The perpetrators are believed to have fled to the nearby Ein Yabrud village.
Yesterday's terror attack came less than 12 hours after the Fatah and Tanzim declared they would escalate attacks against soldiers and settlers after stating they rejected the US proposals concerning any peace agreement between the Palestinians and Israel.
The two will be laid to rest this afternoon in Jerusalem at 16:00.
