Curiously enough, the "history changing" textbook has been available since 2001 but no demonstration was organized in 2001.

Then, in China, Toyota built its factory in 2002 and Nissan built its factory in 2003. Along with those biggest car companies, a lot of Japanese big companies have finished to build factories in China by 2004.

You know, Chinese government has got what they want:Japanes industry and now they are ready to kick Japanese out!

So now, this year, big demonstrations are being organized from the weekend of April 8.

For your information, Dalai Lama, the leader of Tibet, is visiting Japan from April 9.
This is another reason why the demonstration is being organized right now.
Chinese government does not want big headlines of Dalai Lama in Japan.
So, they kindly prepared some other headline for Japanese media: Chinese demonstration against Japan!

I predict the demonstrations will be continued until April 17, which is the last date Dalai Lama has some public appearance in Japan.

Chinese government is very smart than you think. So be careful.
