対イラク武力行使

ピカさん、わたしが言った通り、主流メディアのイラク復興撲滅作戦は、シスタニ派の統一イラク同盟がイラクに神権政府を確立しようとしている、といってイラク人や国際社会を脅かすことにあるようだね。

実際統一イラク同盟は選挙直前に、イランのような神権政府を設立する意志のないことを公言している。

At a news conference, politicians running on the al-Sistani-endorsed ticket, the United Iraqi Alliance, sought to ease any fears the bloc wants to install an Iranian-style Shiite state. Hanin Mohammed Qaddou, a Sunni Muslim on the ticket, said the issue of religious government was "not part of the program and it will not be in the near future."

だいたいこの「イスラム、唯一の法源」とするとは道徳観念などのともなう法律においてイスラム教をもとにするという意味であって、イスラム教によって国を支配するという意味にはならない。アメリカの法律もユダヤ／キリスト教の影響が多々あるし、日本にも儒教などの影響があるはずだ。だからといって我々の法律が宗教によって支配されているということにはならない。

ところで毎日新聞の記事には載っていないが元となったAPの記事では、「イスラム、唯一の法源」と唱えているのは一部の聖職者であり、特にアルファイダという強行派でシーア派でもマイナーな存在。シスタニのように信頼の厚い男ではない。統一イラク同盟はイラクを神権政権にする意志はないと主張している。

"we call for having Islam as the main and only source of legislation and we reject any article that runs contrary to the Islamic legislation," said Ibrahim al-Ibrahimi, spokesman for Grand Ayatollah Ishaq al-Faiadh. "We call on Iraqi officials to preserve the face of Iraq and not to separate religion and state."

Al-Faiadh lacks the stature of al-Sistani, who has not spelled out his vision for Iraq since the election campaign. And senior politicians from the Shiite clerical ticket, known as the United Iraqi Alliance, have insisted they have no intention of imposing an Iran-style clerical state.
