対イラク武力行使

昨日紹介した大統領命令に対する反応が米国内でも出ていたようだ。まあ、当たり前だけど。こちらが分かりやすい。

Thom Hartmann began his program on Thursday by reading from a new Executive Order which allows the government to seize the assets of anyone who interferes with its Iraq policies.（Thom Hartmannは木曜の自身の番組の冒頭で、「イラク政策を妨害する者は誰でも、政府がその資産を差し押さえることを許可する新しい大統領命令」を読み上げた。）

で、保守派共和党員Paul Craig Roberts（レーガン時代の財務次官補）の最近のコラム内容を紹介。

"Unless Congress immediately impeaches Bush and Cheney, a year from now the US could be a dictatorial police state at war with Iran."（議会がただちにブッシュとチェイニーを弾劾しなければ、今から１年後、米国はイランと戦争状態の警察国家になる可能性がある。）

このコラム内容全体がスゴイのですが、これもスゴイ発言ですね（とはいえ、俺のチェイニー認識通りですが）。

Americans need to comprehend and look at how ruthless Cheney is. ... A person like that would do anything.（米国民はチェイニーの残虐さを認識し注視する必要がある。あの手の人間は何だってやるだろう。）
