influential Shia cleric Ayat Allah Ali al-Sistani is reportedly on his way back to Iraq from treatment in London and wants all Iraqis to march on the battle-scarred city of Najaf, a senior aide said on Wednesday.

The aide, Hamid al-Khafaf, told Reuters that al-Sistani should arrive within hours.

The logistics of the march and where al-Sistani will first arrive in Iraq will be known shortly, he added.
