The Japanese government didn’t send the SDF troops to Iraq only due to the pressure from the US government.

It’s done so as we (Japanese) needed take part in the “Western World”. Do you really think Japan can maintain it’s economy and level of safety just by itself? Our supply level of produce is only 40%, for the rest we are totally dependent on the import.

Also, the negotiation with the kidnappers and the withdrawal of the troops are two different things.They can’t be discussed at the same table.
