米憲兵によるイラク人捕虜虐待の写真は、２８日に米ＣＢＳテレビが放映したもの。バグダッド郊外のアブグレイブ刑務所で、米憲兵が捕虜を裸にし、うつぶせに重ねて「人間のピラミッド」を作ったり、ひわいなポーズをとらせるなど、捕虜を辱める様子が写されている。また、頭を布で覆われ、裸の上体に電線を結ばれ箱の上に立った捕虜の写真もあった。

CAIRO (Egypt) - Arabs expressed outrage at graphic photographs shown on TV screens on Friday across the Middle East of Iraqi prisoners, some naked and being forced to simulate sex acts, being humiliated by smiling US MILITARY POLICE.

The Arab TV stations led news bulletins with photos, carrying the 60 Minutes logo, of hooded prisoners piled on top of each other in a human pyramid and SIMULATING SEX ACTS, with their GENITALS blurred. Two US soldiers standing behind hammed it up for the cameras.
