Hi everyone, I am from P.R.China. I came here to express my appreciation for the Japan People. Please forgive my writing in English for I don't know Japanese(language). I would be very grateful for whom would kindly interpret this into Japanese.
I want to say thank you for the great help you have offered to my country immediately after the earthquake and for the care Japanese rescuer showed through the rescue action and for the sympathy Japanese people showed and still for the all above you have done despite the whatever atmosphere of hostility lies between us. I know how deeply people can remember hate and how defend and estrangement will tear people apart, so I know how much encouragement will take people to ignore those bad feeling to show their care selflessly. You have done it.
True that the world war II is a bottle of bitter poison for the feeling of Chinese people and, I won't deny, it is still so right now and after, but we still need to remember that we, both Japanese people and Chinese people, remember history for no purpose for hate itself but for peace we are looking forward, as Chairman Hu said when he visited Japan. War happened indeed and pains both of us are bearing. We can keep arguing whose fault it was but will in vain. We should not fear what had happened but the coming and thickening hostility accumulated through all these days. May the dead in peace of heaven and the alive in peace of earth, therefore it's much not worth it if the same mistake let us fall another time. It is future we should focus.
And another important thing, I heard from internet that a Japanese rescuer was to resign because Japanese rescue team did not find people alive in the ruins. That is not the fault of any one of you. No one can blame a hero like that, including yourself. Not even a single Chinese people will judge rescuer by that. I saw the photo of Japanese rescue team from internet and I saw sorrow from everyone's face. To say the truth, that was a image we could not imagine even 3 months ago. Tragedy resurrects trust and we are obligated to make it continue.
I want to say thank you again to Japanese people who helped or shared feeling with us. May we stand together from now on.
i am looking forwardfor your replies. Please try writing in English so I can read and re-reply to you. Really hope common people of the two nations have better communication. That will really help.
Thank you.
