Five young girls in their 20s went to Tibet to make a living by selling flowers. Their beauty and cheer gain popularity in Lhasa. They are known as the "flower girls" in the multi-ethnic multi-religious neighborhood.
The flower shop is a message of peace and reconciliation. Not surprisingly, the flower shop was targeted. The shop and the young girls were burnt to charcoal during riot. Like the spring cherry blossoms, they are deeply missed in the neighborhood.
