From my experience seeing many images taken during the war - including many activities committed by local Chinese warloads, gangs and pirates looting their blood-brother Chinese people - I can tell that more than 50% of the images have nothing to do with the war. The websites like sohu simply use whatever grotesque scenes from B-rated horror movies made by CCP in the 50s, modify them to look old enough, and upload such images as "imperialists' war atrocities" without referring to any sources nor credits. In fact one cannot verify any of them as anything relevant to the war - they could be from any B-rated movies in HK.
大戦中に撮影されたという多くの写真（同胞から略奪する現地の支那兵士、強盗、海賊達を含む）を見た経験では、その内半数以上は戦争と何の関わりもないと言い切れる。sohuなるネットサイトは、50年代に共産党が撮影した残虐映像や、場合によっては香港のホラームービーを古くみせかけて何の出典も信用性も示すことなく「帝国主義者の残虐行為」としてアップロードしているのだ。
This being the context, the enraged mobs in Beijing kept on shouting "slaughter J*p pigs" toward a tiny group of Japanese fans holding a banner "Love" "Friendship". Being a third party, the scene first made me laugh a lot, but on a second thought, it was not funny at all.
このような背景の中、「愛」「友好」と書かれたバナーを掲げる日本人のちっぽけなグループに向かって「日本人の豚共を虐殺せよ」と叫びつづける北京の暴徒を見て私は大笑いしたが、次の瞬間、全く笑い話ではないと思い直した。
