first we chinese total disagree ur view, let we calm down discussion this dispute first
as japan governement claim that Chunxiao gas field is located in China's sea area, 5 kilometers away from the "midline" claimed by Japanese side. Japan believes that the seabed resources in this area may spread beyond the "midline" to the Japanese sea area and worries that the exploitation of oil and natural gas that China plans to perform will involve the seabed resources in the Japanese sea area. is that right?
also said 現実に日本の物を奪おうとしています.and strongly claim that the natural resource should share by sino-japan 's midline日中中間線(!!!!!!!!! as we china government total disgree , we think should should follow the principle of "natural extension of the continental shelf".
this prinnciple is according to the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea requires that the delimitation of EEZ "shall be effected by agreement on the basis of international law, in order to achieve an equitable solution". The current consensus of the international community is that the midline and equidistance line can only be used in line with the principle of equity and can only act as the starting point of the negotiation between the two sides of the dispute. Since there is no delimitation agreement drawn between China and Japan and the "midline" proposed by Japan has not gone through the negotiation between the two sides and has not been agreed to by China, the "midline" has no legal effect.
In order to avoid conflicts, China's current exploitation activities are all limited within the Chinese side by "Sino-Japan midline". China has not conducted any commercial exploitation in the disputed sea area and opposes Japan reconnoitering and exploiting in the disputed sea area!!
let me give u an example: GERMANY, demark, and HOLLAND AROUND 1969 also have a strong dispute about north sea. after take the case to the international court, as the result "natural extension of the continental shelf won the case.
so i wondering what are u guys angry about? sorewa murii desu ne.
