I am shocked after reading these posts about the English/Languages proficiency of Hong Kong people. Although it was all over like almost a year ago. I still wanted to point out one thing for those who "THINKS"Hong Kong people have bad Languages skill. PLEASE do your research!!!!!!! You guys are very good examples of the "talk/act before thinking/reserching" kinda people. And, show me some proof, you must be very good in english to say something like that, huh? Saying others are stupid, how UNCIVILIZED!!

If you think your English is better then that Hong Kong person in this board, PLEASE PLEASE check your grammar or see a doctor, you must have some mental illness!!!

Let me give you a website to check out the ranking of the Japanese and Hong Kong in the world wide respected and reconigized Test Of English As A Foreign Language (TOEFL). JAPAN RANKS 140/151 countires and HONG KONG RANKS 101/151 countries. Is that clear enough? If you think this source is not reliable, go do your research on it, you WILL get the same result if not worser. Japan, as most of the people in this world know, is kinda not good in english. Thus, I do not personally think you have the right to say a person's English is bad and say he/she is stupid. That is totally ridiculous, since you are obviously the same if not worser!

Just for your infromation, I do not know how to read Japanese except the kanji, all messsages on the board is translated by my japanese friend who are most definitely much more civilized then some people in here while you are all from Japan.

One last thing, if you cannot imagine how have you hurt or disrespect the Hong Kong people in here. Let me tell you somehting, you guys are proud of your own language (Japanese Language), huh? Do you know where it came from??????? CHINA! So as many aspects of your culture, including sushi, architecture, rice, tea ceremonies and many more. You are now saying that you are ashamed of Chinese and Hong Kong people, how stupid is that? Does that mean you are more stupid becasue you dont even have your own writing system and still have to borrow words and Pronunciations from English and Chinese to this day? Should you be ahsamed for not having a culture ALL developed BY YOUR OWN? If you do not know about your culture is very affected by CHINA in Japan early years, may be you should do some research rather then reading your text book, becasue some Japanese textbook like to lie about or cover up their history.Even you have borrow so many words and things from China, I can tell you , NO ONE will say Japanese are stupid, becasue we know that is discrimination, it is uncivilized act and is very unpolite and disrespect no matter what.

You admit it or not, the "great" culture of yours, is enormously influenced by China. The influences are still here to this day and will be part of Japan and Japanese people in the forseeable future. SO, JUST MOVE ON AND BE HUMBLE!!!
