Why are Koreans and Chinese so violently over-reacting to Japanese text books? You guys are paranoids. And let me explain why.

Japan has at least 7 different text books written by private companies. These text books range from conservative to liberal to achieve the balance of perspectives and opinions. It's up to individual school districts and teachers to decide which text books they use. On the other hand, China and Korea only have ONE state-written text book and schools don't have any choice but to use it. In other words, Chinese and Korean citizens are exposed to only one (and heavily biased and fabricated) interpretation of history. In fact, in Korea if you say anything positive about Japan, you will either lose your job or have to run for your life. In other words, they have no freedom of speech/press and they're being brainwashed by their respective governments. Japan should protest Chinese and Korean history books.

Only 0.039% of Japanese public schools use the conservative Japanese text book that's stirring up the riots both in China and Korea. Does this make the entire Japanese people "imperialists?" Isn't that a little paranoid? Chinese/Korean attitudes toward Japan is nothing more than a by-product of their state-written, state-controlled text book. They can't see things from different perspectives. Remember: Everything has two sides to it.

At least Japanese is fortunate to have a freedom of press and freedom of choice. Chinese and Koreans don't.

日本の教科書は民間が執筆し、その中には保守的なものやリベラルなものまで選択肢がある。政府はどの本で子供を教育するかを学校に強制したりはしない。ところが中国や韓国は国が執筆した教科書１種類しかない。物事を一方しか見れない視野の狭い人間ばかりがいるのはこの為である。中国や韓国が騒ぎ立てている扶桑社の教科書の採択率は0.039％。これで全日本国民が帝国主義者だと言うのだろうか。単に狂っているとしか思えない。これも中国や韓国の偏った洗脳的な教科書の賜物である。特に韓国では親日的なことを言おうものなら失職し、命まで狙われる始末である。日本はもっと中国や韓国の教科書に文句を言った方がいい。日本には言論の自由、選択の自由がある。中国や韓国にはそれがない。
