Democratic country doesn’t allow whatever you want.
Teacher should be the role model of students as patriotic Japanese.
Singing national anthem is controversial issue so far. Some teachers oppose, the others agree, therefore the Tokyo governor, who was elected by citizen, adopted it as a duty. That’s democracy, isn’t it? Plus Japanese peoples have the right to vote the Prime Minister indirectly.
Anyway you should compare the system of your country and Japan. Don’t blame just Japan unless your country is mentioned. Don’t take just your convenient subject.
