I heard that FIFA or IOC organization would start investigation on the event that
South Korean soccer player Jongwoo Park held a placard
with a phrase “Dokdo is Korean territory” written on it
when he was performing a ceremony right after the bronze final of men’s soccer game of 2012 London Olympic ended with the victory of South Korea.
I believe that you people would find that Dokdo is clearly and obviously South Korean territory if you consider all of the historical sources of Korea and other countries, even Japan.
Therefore, I seriously cannot understand that there is the problem about the action of the player.
Is there any problem with a player who is claiming a reasonable territory ownership of his nation?
Meanwhile, there is a problem with the use of Rising Sun Flag in the game between South Korea and Japan.
Rising Sun Flag is a flag that represent the militarism and colonialism of Japan.
Korean people, who underwent the colonialization of their country by Japan, get enraged and feel sore at their heart when they see Japanese people cheering their country waving the Rising Sun Flag, even in the game between South Korea and Japan.
The use of Rising Sun Flag that also appeared in this bronze final is wrong enough to raise political dispute.
I heard that you people were extremely strict about the use of Nazi Flag, but why are you so relaxed on the same matter?
In conclusion, there is NOT any problem with a South Korean player’s performance of confirming the undoubted ownership of his nation’s territory.
If you would investigate on this issue, I want you ladies and gentlemen to make a thorough investigation so that you could prove the fact that Dokdo is obviously Korean territory and let all the people know the truth.
