韓国・李大統領が竹島訪問へ

国際オリンピック委員会（ＩＯＣ）のマーク・アダムス広報部長は１１日、英国のカーディフで１０日に行われたロンドン五輪サッカー男子の３位決定戦、日本―韓国の試合後に、 韓国選手が竹島（韓国名・独島）領有を主張するメッセージを掲げたとして、調査する方針を示した。

　 韓国メディアの電子版などによると、韓国の朴鍾佑選手が「独島はわれわれの領土」と書かれたメッセージを持つ写真が掲載され、日韓のインターネット上などで問題視されていた。
ＩＯＣは五輪憲章で、五輪施設や会場などでの政治的な宣伝活動を禁じている。

At the match of men's football between Japan and Korea conducted at Millennium stadium in Britain on the date of 10th August, I am afraid to inform you that there was an obvious violation of Olympic Charter.
Jong-Woo Park, a Korean player, ostentationally displayed a piece of paper which explicitly says "Dok-do, an islet over which both Japan and Korea claim sovereignty, is our territory" on the pitch.
This clearly falls foul of Olympic Charter Chapter5 Article51 "No kind of demonstration or political, religious or racial propaganda is permitted in any Olympic sites, venues or other areas. "
