日本は何故、反省しないのか？

そうそう、思い出しましたヨ。

前回、往にし屁氏の訳のわからぬアルファベット表記言語に付きあって、
頭が可笑しくなって来たまさにその時、Ｖ−Ｊに関する米下院決議が発表され、
英語は本当は美しい言葉だと感激した事。

いつもの願望記事です。

たぶん、

Commemorating the 60th anniversary of V-J Day and the end of World War II in the Pacific.

という決議のことだと思いますが（これしかそれらしい決議は見当たらないので）、ここに書いてある内容は、韓国人記者の願望の産物とは全く別物です。

勝手に紹介して良いのかどうか知りませんが、一部抜粋しますと、

真珠湾攻撃から始まった太平洋戦争では米国民および連合国市民に大きな被害をもたらし・・・と書き出した後、

Whereas Japanese military forces and the Japanese civilian population also suffered staggering losses

Whereas on August 15, 1945, Emperor Hirohito of Japan announced the unconditional surrender of Japan's military forces, made formal on September 2, 1945, aboard the U.S.S. Missouri in Tokyo Bay, Japan; thus ending the most devastating war in human history

といった感じに、戦争とその結果を総括した上で、

アメリカ合衆国下院は、

１）V-J Day、太平洋戦争終結６０周年に思いをめぐらし、
２）戦争に参加したアメリカ軍関係者への敬意と感謝を示し、
３）国のために命を捧げたアメリカ人を思い起こしその栄誉を称える

ことを決議する

という内容。

よくもまあ、この記事から日本の戦争美化に釘を刺しなどというストーリーが書けたもんだ。
ある意味、すごい想像（妄想？）力かも。

中央日報の記事のしたの御意見掲示板のところにも紹介されてました。

記事で名指しされたヘンリー・ハイド議員のところに、メールで確認を取ったらどんな反応が返ってくるんだろう？

「あなたが日本の右傾化に警告を与える決議を提出したと韓国の大手新聞で記事が出ていましたが、これは事実ですか？」
ってな感じで。（笑）
