.A. charges four in massage parlor investigation

Prosecutors today filed charges against four people suspected of promoting prostitution or having sex for money at the Toyko Massage parlor west of Casper.

The charges come two days after authorities searched the massage parlor and a Casper apartment as part of a mult-agency investigation.

The defendants appeared this morning in Natrona County Circuit Court, where a judge read the charges against them. Two women -- Kyong Stodolka, 57, and June Wilhelmi, 60, are accused of promoting prostitution and conspiracy.

In an interview with investigators, Wilhelmi identified Stodolka as the massage parlor's madam, according to an affidavit signed by Natrona County Sheriff's Investigator Aaron Shatto. Wilhelmi allegedly told authorities she served as acting madam in the spring of 2007 while Stodolka was away.

Wilhelmi and another woman, Okki Shoffler, 53, also face a charge each of prostitution.

The three women all required a Korean translator during their court apperance.

Prosecutors have also filed a conspiracy charge against Ken Robertson, a 60-year-old Casper resident suspected of doing a number of jobs at the parlor.
