According to our glorious grandparents or great grandparents,
Japanese soldiers broke innto the houses of Koreans and abducted young women to make them comfort women.
Sensing something wrong, I asked my grandfather, "Grandpa, why did you resist the Japanese soldiers to prevent the abduction?" Or, "What did you do to protect the pitiful Korean women?"
No answer.
"Were you so timid and cowardly that you merely looked on the barbarity without taking any action against Japanese?"
No answer.
I do not understand what their silence signifies. Were our glorious ancestors so chiken-livered? Is there anyone that can answer my question?
