韓国の「現代自動車」いよいよ進出！

Consumer Reportsの１月号にkiaのAmantiが評されていますがえらく酷評です。Large sedanの順位では一位がトヨタAvalon SLS,二位ビュイックPark Avenue Ultra, 三位ニッサンMaxima 3.5SEに混じって十二車種調べた中で八位につけています。ReliabilityがAvalonはExellent、MaximaがVery goodですがAmantiはNAです。トヨタ、ニッサンともお薦めのマークがついていますがAmantiはノーマーク。

The Kia Amanti is not up to the level of the better cars in this class. Its soft ride isolates the cabin from road imperfections, but the car feels too buoyant to be comfortable. With reluctant handling and a lack of agility, the Amanti is the worst-handling passenger car we've recently tested, although its optional ESC keeps it secure at its handling limits.
The V6 engine produces satisfactory power, but the Amanti is still the slowest of the group, and fuel economy is unimpressive. The upscale interiou has notable fit and finish. We have insufficient reliability data on the Amanti.
