Yeah, you are right. I suspected during the entire game that this guy wanted to lose this game. But now I have better idea. He really didn't know how to play the sudden-death game in second round and beyond. It is so clear that he spent all these years just to create the team which is only good enough to advance to second round as a "runner-up."
