2002年6月25日火曜日、東京国立競技場の巨大スクリーンに映し出されるワールドカップ準決勝戦、ドイツ対韓国の試合を見ながら、ドイツ側サポーターは公正な審判を要求する垂れ幕を掲げて応援した。約6000人のサッカーファン、主に日本に住む韓国人は、試合を観戦するためにスタジアムに集まった。ドイツは1-0で勝った。
