Your explanation on the present situation of Iran is very clear and I understand it.

I also wish Iran will change for better soon. I have an Iranian friend who lives
in Tehran. She is very open minded and whishes more freedom and democracy in Iran.
But she told me she would not go for voting for the next Presidential election scheduled
next year. She seems to have lost hope to make the society better through election.
Maybe another revolution?

By the way what is your reaction to the news that Ms Ebadi was awarded Nobel Peace Prize
this year? Are every Iranian people in the States happy without any reservation?
I myself felt so excited and was proud for the sake of Iranian people who struggled
for freedom.
