Before most people were awake this morning, the killers of Taiji had already trapped a pod of 17 Risso Dolphins within the cove.
As the pod was further netted off within the confines of the killing cove, two Risso dolphins tried desperately to escape their fate as they attempted to swim through the nets.
The killers, however, were working too hastily to notice or care and left a member of the pod to drown.
The remaining 16 members were then dragged one-by-one to the killing shore and murdered by the killers.
